Mommy watering the flower bed too long + 2 little boys =

As I watch Movie Time Monday on Disney, I realize that I have a lot of stuff that should get completed today that I haven’t done. Such activities like:

1. Laundry that I haven’t touched since last week
2. Vacuuming the house
3. Cleaning the bathrooms
4. Finishing up my devotional for tomorrow
5. Making my Monday phone calls

Yikes! I should at least get some stuff done. I guess I better get to work before I’m up all night working instead of sleeping.

Since we don’t have enough projects going on *insert laugh here*, we decided to buy the boys a new wooden playground for their birthday. I’m hoping we have it done before their birthday in August! This thing is huge. It was in four gigantic boxes and one enormous twirly slide. I’m pretty sure Aaron and I have both looked at this monstrosity wondering what the heck we were thinking buying this thing. Of course, we see how excited the boys are about it and quickly remember that this is all for them. The things we do to see our children smile…

I found a story in the Star Telegram that really just touched me:

After 75 years of marriage, Fort Worth couple died 5 hours apart

I’ve always heard about couples who are married for many years dying within a year from each other, but I’ve never read a story about it in the paper. I think the part that really hit me was Mrs. Cox died of a heart condition just 5 hours after her husband’s death. It makes me think that is fancy doctor talk for saying that she died of a broken heart. 😦
